We moved into our home four years ago and the winters have not been very pleasant unless we were in sweaters, slippers, and wrapped in blankets. After getting a new furnace, gas insert fireplace and still being cold, we decided to call the insulation experts, recommended by our trusty realtor. On the first visit (and all visits), Mike brought us breakfast treats. He educated us on having control over the heating and cooling in our home, which helped immediately. We asked for an estimate for insulation along with some other recommendations for energy saving remedies. After discussing the estimate with Mike, the team went to work. After prep work, they blew in 2000 pounds of cellulose insulation. Before blowing it in they hung fabric to contain the insulation, so the attics look better than they did before. We had a bat problem one winter, and since we now have cellulose instead of fiberglass it will deter critters from setting up camp. They insulated the doors to the attics and they look and feel much less creepy. Although, it has not been significantly cold yet, we can already tell the rooms that were freezing cold before are much more pleasant. We’re actually looking forward to winter to see how much better the house will feel!
